Soon the new life form began to spread on the territory of Mexico. Therefore a half of Mexico was announced a dangerous zone and quarantined. So is the prehistory of the film “Monsters”. Six years after the accident of global importance, two wanderers intend to cross the infected zone and reach the safety on the adjacent territory of the US. One of them is a journalist; the next one is a tourist.

The innovative film from Gareth Edwards, “Monsters” blends genres of Sci-Fi, drama and romance. It’s curious, that the cast of the film includes only two heroes, played by Scoot McNairy and Whitney Able. The whole crew of the movie consisted from five people, including the filmmaker. The team of Edwards had to cover a considerable distance, travelling through Belize, Guatemala and Mexico. The supporting actors were found, as the team had been passing through the local territories of Central America in search for the places suitable for filming. The film by Garret Edwards is a visually stunning, emotionally rich and groundbreaking project, which will surely find a broad response among the viewers.

Abby is a self-possessed and very eccentric young girl. She lives with a strangely silent dad, who rarely leaves his apartment. As for Abby, she appears only in twilight and always barefoot. The bizarre behavior of his friend couldn’t remain unseen for Owen.

When Abby’s father disappears under unknown and mysterious circumstances one day, the girl has to live by her own in the apartment, but she refuses any help from Owen. The imaginative boy begins to suspect, that Abby is not a usual girl, and perhaps she has a big secret, which she doesn’t feel like telling him about…

He constantly sees two beautiful women in his dreams: one of them has a flaming red hair, while another one is dark and mysterious. Actually they don’t bother Smith, at least in the beginning. But what is strange, that soon the personages of Smith’s dreams begin to appear in reality… It is either a result of hallucinogen cookies, he has taken at a party, or something else, that he can’t explain. Could he be someway involved into something incomprehensible for a human mind?

In the title role of the film stars Thomas Dekker. Stella is played by Haley Bennett; Nicole LaLiberte stars a red haired girl; Catherine Breillat appears in the film as a dark one.

Going to his last exorcism, Marcus offers a film crew to join him in order to shot an outstanding documentary, based on real events. Soon they arrive on the Louisiana remote farm, which belongs to Louis Sweetzer, an earnest fundamentalist. He has a teenage daughter called Nell, who is possessed by a demon. Cotton Marcus is hired to exorcise the demon, terrorizing the poor girl, and prevent the possible tragedy.

But this case is not a common one, the preacher used to deal with. It will be a severe test for the Reverend Marcus and his own beliefs, as this time he has to face a real danger in the face of a real evil. Marcus and his team must find the way to save Nell and themselves, until it’s too late…

The fisherman has no idea, who this mysterious woman is, where she came from and what to do with her. His daughter Anny believes that Ondine is a kind of mermaid from the Irish mythology, so-called “selkie”.

However that may be, Ondine becomes a significant person in the life of the family soon. Syracuse falls in love with her, and his feelings are mutual. Their idyll although can’t last forever. After a car crash the past of Ondine suddenly returns and the beloved are facing now another beginning of their story…

“Ondine” is a film about such human values as life, love, hope and believe in the impossible.

The subtle dwarf Rumpelstiltskin offers Shrek to change his life to the better. Thus a simple-hearted ogre gets entrapped. He finds himself all of a sudden in another version of the place, called Far Far Away, where Rumpelstiltskin rules the world, and by orders of the dwarf ogres are to be hunted. But the most terrible thing, happened with twisted and luckless Shrek in this place, is the absence of Fiona, whom he has never met in this version of existence.  What can he do to re-establish his world, save his friends and come back to Fiona? The power of love is able to work miracles, but how true is that for Shrek?

"Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" is a fantastic adventure, presented on the big screen by the cooperation of Walt Disney Pictures with Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

The story of the film takes place in Persian lands, known by their mystery and danger. A villainous and bad-tempered prince has to join the forces of a beautiful princess in order to stand up together to their common enemy. They join their powers to save an antique dagger from the dark forces. This item is of great importance for them, because it is not only a cold steel, but a symbol, possessing great power. They need to protect the dagger for the sake of releasing the Sands of Time, which are appeared to be a holy place, created by Gods themselves.  The time is not a constant value here and can be run back with the help of this dagger. The man, who has the dagger, gets the greatest power and can rule the world.

 The breathtaking scenes of the film were taken in several Moroccan towns, including the places not far from Marrakesh, Erfoud and Ouarzazate. Some episodes were partly set against the background of decorations, constructed in Great Britain - at Pinewood Studios. Starring in the film are Jake Gyllenhaal in the role of a rouge prince and Gemma Arterton as a mystical princess.

“Metropia”, directed by Tarik Saleh, is a mysterious thriller with elements of science fiction, produced with the use of advanced animation. Each of the film characters was created on the basis of about eighty levels in order to manipulate the actions of the animated personages properly and make them realistic. The thriller “Repo Men” describes the result of medicine progress of the company called “The Union”. The employees of this company are professional doctors, who have reached perfect results, working with organ transplantation. Properly, such type of medical help costs a lot. Not everyone can afford it. To guarantee, that “The Union” will get the money from patients, the company practices the following method: those people, who have transplanted organs of “The Union” and do not pay the full price, have to give the organs back… Repo men are the workers of the company and they do everything possible to get the organs back, even if it kills the patients.

Remy and Jake are the partners and Repo men, who find themselves on the different sides of the battlefront. Jake (Forest Whitaker) has to find Remy (Jude Law) and take away his transplanted heart.

Escaping from the terrible and cruel Repo men, including his partner Jake, Remy meets Beth (Alice Braga), who is also the debtor of “The Union”. Remy and his misfortune’s mate get together in their disaster, planning how to deceive system that can track them down.

The animated screen version of the well-known Book of Kells tells the story 12-year-old orphaned boy Brendan. He lives in an outlying medieval abbey with his strict uncle Abbott Cellach who is Brendan’s only family. Hand in hand with the monks living in the Abbey of Kells Brendan works at reinforcing the walls in order to defend it from Viking raids.

One day a glorious master illuminator Brother Aidan arrives from foreign lands. He fills Brendan’s life with adventure and lets him into the secrets of illumination. The master brings an ancient book fraught with secret wisdom and powers. But the book is unfinished. In order to complete the magic book, Brendan has to fulfill a dangerous mission and overcome his fears. He starts out to seek special berries with wonderful juice. It is used for making emerald ink for writing “The Book of Kells”. Brendan finds himself in the enchanted forest full mythical creatures. Here he meets a mysterious young fairy Aisling who is completely white and can turn into a wolf. Aisling gives Brendan a helping hand along his way.  When Viking Hordes launch the attack Brendan must do his best to get a magic crystal. Then he will be able to finish the last pages of the Sacred Book.
